VJ Ryo
VJ RYO is a visual artist from Tokyo. Alongside his work as a designer, he started his career as a VJ in 2003. After spending time in Taiwan, Australia, and China, he is now based in Shanghai, where he creates visual performances for clubs and events in Japan, China, and other countries. His performances include renowned venues such as WOMB in Tokyo, SYSTEM in Shanghai, W Shanghai, and The Shanghai EDITION. He has also contributed to interactive art projects at the InterContinental Hotel Hangzhou and W Hotel Chengdu.
In addition to his VJ activities at clubs, he has been responsible for VJ visuals at various music events, including X-GAMES China and Bilibili World. In 2023, he began his DJ career and continues to explore the integration of graphics, video, and interactive art, utilizing digital technology and sound design to push the boundaries of design, events, visuals, and spatial presentations.

While living in Europe, he developed a unique visual style through active media art projects and performances.
VJ.Mowryknow.momoi specializes in creating abstract, real-time generated visuals for live performances.
Past projects include hip-hop artist Shing02's Asia tour, Boiler Room, and Shanghai's club SYSTEM.
